Sip & Purr Cat Café
/Happy to see the cat café is now open again at their new location on Brady Street (corner of Marshall) where they moved after closing the old one, near North Ave. The question remains, where did the cats go in the meantime? Perhaps the cats were working on the design and renovation of the new place—cats are notoriously slow at construction projects because they will often get distracted by chasing an extended tape measure, for instance—and did you ever see a cat try to pound a nail? Ha! Though I’m not much better. Anyway, the new place is nice. I’m going to need deeper pockets before I can afford to spend time in the cat room (it’s reasonable; my pockets aren’t). Also, the cats are up for adoption, and it’s a little dangerous putting yourself at proximity to fall in love when you don’t have the space, means, or heart for it. I’m talking cat-wise—but maybe in general, as well? At any rate, besides the glassed-in feline wonderland, there is coffee—good coffee—and three small tables at the far end (not real spacious, but unlikely to encounter the all-day lap-toppers) where you can sit and sip, purr-colate, and dream.
